Tarot Share - A Gathering of Conscious Souls

Samhain - Celebration & Connection
Samhain is a Gaelic festival typically honoured on the 31st October/or on 1st November - when the 'veil' is at its thinnest. Marking the end of the harvest season and beginning of winter or "darker half" of the year, celebrations begin on the evening of 31 October, since the Celtic day began and ended at sunset.
This is about halfway between the autumnal equinox and winter solstice. It is one of the four Gaelic seasonal festivals along with Imbolc, Beltaine and Lughnasa.
Join me and other like minded souls to welcome this turn of the wheel - the time for rest, restoration and reconnection a time of thanks and ancestral power.

This workshop is designed to help advance the knowledge and practice that you gained from the first workshop (if you attended) or further support your current practice in general, as someone familiar with the Tarot.
In the first instance, the skills and techniques of reading the tarot will be shared with you to encourage you to read for others. The goal of the workshop is to create a confident relationship with the Tarot and its technical and practical elements, as well as the spiritual and emotive connections with divine support.
After sharing various methods on how to approach your readings - you will work closely with spirit to create a space for your own personal journey with the cards (within the group setting) and how you would like to utilise this incredible divination tool - in your daily life, work and future spiritual growth.

This 4 week workshop ( a series of 4 sessions held together at Rookery Retreat cabin) will introduce you to the history and basic understandings of the Tarot magical - a wondrous, rich and diverse modality of working with spirt and enhancing your spiritual journey.
You will be encouraged to make a connection with your more spiritual and intuitive aspects of self - supported to explore each card, suit and the major/minor differences within the story of Tarot.
Each week will cover different areas of the journey, including:

Litha - Midsummer, Gathering Day, Summer Solstice
Midsummer or the Summer Solstice is the most powerful day of the year for the Sun God. Because this Sabbat glorifies the Sun God and the Sun, fire plays a very prominent role in this festival. The element of Fire is the most easily seen and immediately felt element of transformation. It can burn, consume, cook, shed light or purify and balefires still figure prominently at modern Midsummer rites.
Most cultures of the Northern Hemisphere mark Midsummer in some ritualised manner and from time immemorial people have acknowledged the rising of the sun on this day. At Stonehenge, the heelstone marks the midsummer sunrise as seen from the centre of the stone circle.

Beltane - First of Summer - Festival
Beltane was one of four Gaelic seasonal festivals: Samhain (1 November), Imbolc (1 February), Beltane (1 May), and Lughnasadh (1 August). Beltane marked the beginning of the pastoral summer season, when livestock were driven out to the summer pastures. Rituals were held at that time to protect them from harm, both natural and supernatural, and this mainly involved the "symbolic use of fire". There were also rituals to protect crops, dairy products and people, and to encourage growth. The aos sí (often referred to as spirits or fairies) were thought to be especially active at Beltane (as at Samhain) and the goal of many Beltane rituals was to appease them. Most scholars see the aos sí as remnants of the pagan gods and nature spirits. Beltane was a "spring time festival of optimism" during which "fertility ritual again was important, perhaps connecting with the waxing power of the sun”.
